Many of our regular customers rely on us exclusively for their framing requirements, and we are the preferred supplier for several government departments.
We are equipped with state of the art computer guided mat cutting machine. We can cut matboard to any size (1000 x 1500mm max), in a wide range of colours, with multiple openings and irregular shaped openings if required. Capabilities also include embossed borders, v-grooves, intricate cut or drawn patterns. Bulk discounts are available for exhibiting artists and students.
Our senior framer, has over 30 years experience stretching canvas and other materials and is happy to provide advice on any of your stretching requirements.
Ready-made Frames and Mats
We stock a small range of commercially made frame in standard sizes up to A1. For a more economical alternative to full custom framing, irregular shaped pieces can often be fitted to standard frames with the aid of a custom cut mat. We also keep on the shelf a range of custom made frames designed especially for ANU and Canberra Uni degrees.

Slide and Negative Scanning
35mm and Medium format negatives and 35mm slides scanned to high resolution jpeg file with Colour correction and dust/scratch removal.
Photographs are scanned into a computer, digitally retouched with Photoshop and then printed. Many of the photographs that make up your family history have become damaged and worn over the years. Canlab offers a wide range of photoshop restoration and optimisation services.
Highest quality wet process photographic printing to Kodak Professional photographic paper. Colour correction, optimisation and custom image formatting services available. We can print onsite up to a maximum size of 8 x14 inches and can provide larger prints up to 24 x 40 inches through our partner lab in Melbourne.
Prints of all sizes to 58 x 300cm can be produced in house on canvas paper using our Epson printer. Set your files to 180ppi – RGB (not CMYK).
